Thankful. In the United States, last week was Thanksgiving, a holiday where people spend time with family and friends and remember the things they’re thankful for. I think the idea of being thankful and reflecting back on good things in your life is something that naturally happens towards the end of a calendar year.

There are many things to be thankful for in my life. I have a wonderful family and supportive friends who have been there for me each and every time I have needed them. I have a job that allows me to do the things I enjoy, and to be with people who make me happy. I live in a place that continues to astound me with its beauty and its unexpected delights. So … without overwhelming things, here are four pictures of some of the people/places I’m most thankful for this year.
